The service

Glyph provides guided Egyptian Arabic learning, review, speech features, tutor explanations, and conversation practice. Features, lesson availability, and service limits may differ by app version, subscription, territory, or learner state. Website articles and the browser demo are educational previews and do not guarantee access to any particular app feature, launch date, or price.

Accounts

Some app features require Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for your account and device access and for providing accurate information. Do not share credentials or attempt to use another person's account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact hello@terzima.com.

Subscriptions and free trials

Paid plans are auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through Apple. If Apple says you are eligible for an introductory free trial, confirming the offer still starts a subscription. The price shown by Apple will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before renewal. Apple determines trial eligibility, processes payment, and controls refunds.

You can manage or cancel from your Apple Account. Cancellation stops future renewal but normally preserves access through the verified paid or trial period. Deleting your Glyph account does not cancel an Apple subscription. See Support for direct Apple links and restoration help.

Service allowances

Speech, tutor, and live-practice features may have plan-based or safety-based usage limits. Glyph may temporarily refuse a request when an allowance is exhausted, a provider is unavailable, or continuing would threaten security or service stability. A subscription does not promise unlimited third-party AI usage.

Learning and AI limitations

Glyph is an educational tool, not a certified translation, interpretation, academic, legal, medical, or emergency service. Speech recognition and AI-generated translations, explanations, examples, and conversation responses can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Use your judgment and do not rely on Glyph where an error could cause harm.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • abuse, disrupt, probe, or bypass Glyph's security, access controls, or usage limits;
  • use automated methods to scrape, copy, or overload the service;
  • upload unlawful material or content that violates another person's rights;
  • reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use Glyph or its output to build a competing content or model dataset without written permission.

Content and feedback

Glyph's app, lesson design, written and audio materials, branding, and website are owned by Glyph or its licensors. You may use them for your personal learning, but not republish or sell them. You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Glyph the limited permission needed to process that content to provide the feature, operate the service, and respond to your request. If you submit product feedback, Glyph may use it without an obligation to compensate you.

Availability and changes

Glyph may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network conditions, or third-party providers. Material changes will receive notice when required. Continuing to use Glyph after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Glyph is provided “as is” and without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, or meet every learning goal. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived. You are responsible for how you use the service and its output.

Apple terms

The iOS app is also licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Apple's purchase and media-service terms govern App Store billing and refunds.
